DDP YOGA REVIEW PROFESSIONAL
Let me first say that I had no idea what to expect from a Yoga DVD led by a WCW World Champion Professional Wrestler.
DDP YOGA REVIEW PRO
Energy “takes the Diamond Dozen positions and uses them in an energizing 20 minute workout that’s designed to wake up your whole body.” Since it was 7:30 am, Energy sounded like just what I needed! I’m being taught Yoga by a Pro Wrestler! Then, since I was still feeling pretty good, I went ahead and started my first DDP Yoga workout - Energy. He also gives modifications for each move when available.
DDP YOGA REVIEW HOW TO
DDP shows you how to do each move, either himself or with an assistant who has been part of the program. I also watched the Diamond Dozen, which is an overview of each move that makes up the DDP Yoga workout. This was a reminder on how to breathe deeply and it really helped me to focu on just that during the actual moves. This short exercise was important for me because I tend to have very shallow breathing.

I started from the beginning and watched the Breathing segment. Here is a quick look at the exercises included on the 4 DVDs (Red Hot Core is on all four DVDs, must be so you don’t have to switch them out if you want to do it along with another workout!): Disc 1 Yesterday morning, I popped the first DVD into my player, spread the poster out onto the floor in front of me for reference and proceeded to have an awesome workout! The DDP Yoga Combo Pack that I received came with 4 workout DVDs, a poster and a program guide. After using his new DDP Yoga system every day, he was able to get back in the ring, even when doctors said it would never be possible! He went on to develop an “all-in-one-workout” that is a hybrid between yoga, intense cardio, pilates and mixed martial arts. After some skepticism about doing yoga to help his body heal, DDP realized how much yoga was helping his mind and body. The program was designed by by former pro-wrestler Diamond Dallas Page after he suffered from a suffering from an injury that almost ended his career. But this program isn’t just another fitness tool it’s an overall lifestyle change that encourages positive thinking, clean eating and a healthy body. The program description interested me and when I went to the website to check it out, the success stories and videos there really spoke to me.ĭDP YOGA is a unique, at home hybrid yoga workout system that stretches every muscle in the body, while at the same time, improving core strength, flexibility and mobility, as well as promoting significant weight loss. When DDP Yoga emailed asked if they could send over their program for review, I jumped on the chance. I do like to mix things up a bit though, the elliptical can become a tiny bit monotonous after a while and though I do love my shred DVD, I’ve missed being able to loosen up and stretch my body like I used to do in Jazzercise class. While they have been sporadic, April is turning out to be a good month and I’m really pleased with how I’ve been doing. Well, it may not be MY Mama’s yoga, but this mama is sure having fun with the DDP Yoga kit that I recently received for review! You may remember that I am taking my weight loss seriously and I’ve been tracking my workouts since late February.
